Abdul Majid Khan, a scholar of Islamic studies at the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, has done a good job in publishing his doctoral work on Mohammad Asad (1900–1992), a distinguished Islamic scholar of our times. Apart from having authored a commentary and translation of the Qur’an, The Message of the Quran (1980), Asad also won acclaim for his other equally engaging works: Islam at the Crossroads; The Road to Mecca, and The Law of Ours.
